Carista Luminare, Ph.D., is founder of The Center for Creative Parenting. She is a Preconception and Prenatal Counselor specializing in early attachment dynamics, and how they impact a child’s development and health. Carista also counsels parents and teens how to rewire their early life insecure bonding patterns to secure attachment.

Integrating her experience as a counselor and mother, she developed a comprehensive Pre-birth Holistic Health program which was featured in her book, “Parenting Begins Before Conception: A Guide for Preparing Body, Mind, and Spirit- for You and Your Future Child.” 

Since graduating from Harvard University in 1978, Carista has had a successful counseling practice working with clients around the world. She has taught workshops internationally on topics that address concerns about marriage, parenthood, and families.

Carista offers a wide variety of services using a holistic approach to pre-conception planning, fertility, and prenatal healthcare, as well as optimizing personality and soul development of children throughout their life.  She focuses her work on optimizing secure attachment and preventing childhood developmental trauma. Her principles and parenting techniques have informed and helped thousands of clients worldwide.
